Women make up half the world's population, account for the world's largest economy, and represent the world's largest financial opportunity. Yet women are so often misunderstood. It results in part from a gender imbalance in industry. Only 15% of the design and innovation industry is female, yet women influence 85% of all consumer goods and services. Understanding women is crucial for success in both developed and developing countries to establish stronger personal connections to products, services, brands and systems.
