By connecting experts across different disciplines, we turn their ideas into actions.Completed projects • Canal Bank Stabilization Project Phase I- The project consisted on installing a stacked geoweb system resulting in a stable, sustainable and more effective canal system, with reduced amount of debris and vegetation entering the canal improving the stormwater capacity through the SFWMD C-8 canal system. 4City Consulting, led the design team, public outreach, permitting and construction management of canal stabilization project. Worked with the design consultant to design public outreach meeting to inform about proposed canal stabilization options and receive feedback.• Town Engineering Services- Served as Public Works Director while position was vacant. Responsible for managing the capital improvement program and maintaining, permitting and inspecting all activities in the right of way including streets, sidewalks, stormwater utilities, and waterways.Current projects • LED Streetlight Conversion Program- Managing the evaluation, procurement and implementation of a LED Streetlight conversion program which consists of converting approximately 915 streetlights to LED fixtures. The project is currently 75% complete and installation is expected to be completed by end of September.• CCTV Traffic Cameras and Adaptive Signal Technology- Working with Miami-Dade County on the implementation of CCTV traffic cameras and adaptive signal technology for a highly congested corridor.• Lake Sarah Drainage and Roadway Improvement Project- Managing the construction phase for the Client. The project includes restoration and resurfacing of the existing roadway surfaces, pavement markings, and signage, as well as stormwater improvements in the Lake Sarah Sub-Basin including addition of catch basins, French drains, and manholes to provide water quality and quantity treatment.• Canal Bank Stabilization Project Phase II- Managing the design, public outreach. procurement and construction administration of the second phase of this project. The project will stabilize the bank, improve canal appearance and canal performance, reduce sediment accumulation, increase flood protection, prevent erosion of homes during high water events, and protect private property values and ad valorem revenue. • FDOT Safe Routes to School LAP project- Managing the FDOT funded project to complete a 1.5 mile shared path route between Miami Lakes Middle School and Miami Lakes Elementary School in the Town of Miami Lakes. These improvements include providing upgraded crosswalks, sidewalks, new school zone signage and countdown pedestrian signal crossings.• Complete Street Implementation of Business Park East in Miami Lakes – Leading the design process for the client including evaluating different scenarios based on their technical efficacy, economic impact and benefit to the public and managing the public engagement process and consensus building. www.4cityconsulting.com
