5-2-50 (pronounced Five To Fifty) is a South African based company with a vision to eradicate poverty through ensuring that there is a good job available to every woman and man on earth who is able and willing to work.We believe that by 2050 the idea of extreme involuntary poverty can be something children learn about in history books. People were created to live in dignity and prosperity. It should be considered normal for a person to have the expectation to have a decent job, and be part of a functioning economic system that allows them to create security and future hope for themselves, their children, and other dependents. Five to Fifty (5-2-50) was created to directly impact this expectation by generating growth focused on driving employment whilst simultaneously driving sustainable profits and development of organizational capability.We help our clients to formulate a clear vision and strategy to grow up to ten times in size in a period of no more than five years. Our toolset is a combination of Theory of Constraints, Lean and Agile interventions, combined with our strategic management methodology that has been tested in the local and international market.We partner with our investors by providing an avenue to make a high impact investment with shared risk, as we also invest in the companies we help grow. By investing in 5-2-50 or directly in our client companies, you are investing in a vision of a world where everyone on earth can experience the dignity and benefits of a good job.Our core focus is on investing funds and development in organizations that are currently between five to ten people in number, have been running for at least three years, and that have a strong desire for growth. We help them grow to approximately 50 employees in no more than 5 years. With our broad base of experience and skills, we also help our larger local and multi-national customers achieve ambitious growth targets in challenging economic environments.
