500 Women in Medicine (500WIM) is a satellite organization of 500 Women Scientists established by five women medical students. We believe women play a critical role in medicine and that gender equity in medicine must be improved. The mission of 500WIM is to serve society by making medical knowledge and expertise more collaborative, accessible, and inclusive. To achieve our mission we: Unite and connect women physicians across the country and around the world, empower women physicians to grow to their full potential in the field of medicine, and advocate for gender and health equity.
