5B Baleares is a Mallorcan company specialising in the development of renewable energy projects. It focuses on photovoltaic installations in urban areas such as large roofs and outdoor parkings, offering the possibility for local companies to benefit from the energy generated by photovoltaic installations without having to make considerable investments. It has the support and expertise of its two French parent companies, Langa International led by Gilles Lebreux and 5B Corporate (DKB Millenium Group) led by Dimitri Breliere. Furthermore, it develops partnerships with important international companies from the energy, efficiency and renewables sectors. 5B Baleares also addresses other challenges of the energy transition in the Balearic Islands such as the problem of the limited use of rural land on the islands, through the development of agrovoltaic projects; the preservation of the Mallorcan industrial heritage, through the restoration of traditional mills for wind energy production or the ambitious challenge of promoting the use of green hydrogen as an energy vector, using the know-how of similar projects developed by Langa International in ports of Corsica.
