The collaboration between Chris Jezus and James R. started in 2007, when James started DJing and Chris took on the role of manager and PR. After the success of their clubnights 747 ✈ at Milan's Plastic Club and Diskopolitan at Blanco (in collaboration with DJ Lorenzo LSP and fashion editor Riccardo Slavik), they decided not only to start DJing as a duo, but also to launch a sound design side-project, combining James' DJing skills with Chris' classical and contemporary musical education. Now they are resident DJs at their own partyCafe Olè taking place every Friday night at Bond. Recently their venture in sound design brought a wave of musical novelty to Africa: the duo designed the soundtrack for Kinabuti's fashion show, a project presented during the first African Intern ational Film Festival in Port Hacourt, Nigeria.Their work is closely entwined with the fashion world, with clients ranging from Maison Martin Margiela to Calvin Klein, MSGM, Moschino…to mention but a few. 747′s DJset can be described with one word: unpredictable. Like their name suggests, they'll fly you from Paris' gritty electro to Ibiza's house, passing by Stockholm's nordic sounds, London's guitars and Italy's vintage pearls. The fact that the two belong to different generations only makes it all the more eclectic.
