7t2 HUNGERS this name is derived from The Battle of Karbala which took place on 10th of Muharram in the year 61 Hijri of the Islamic calendar at Karbala (Dessert), in Iraq. The battle took place between a small group of supporters and relatives of Prophet Muhammad's Grandson Imam Hussain with the large military of approx 20k forces of Yazid (King). Yazid was a Dictator, Oppressive, pleasure-seeking person. The reason for battle was Yazid wanted to be the Khalifa and he wanted to rule the Islam. So Yazid played a game and called Imam Hussain at Kufa and kept two options in front of Imam Hussain i.e. 1) Accept me Khalifa or 2) Get ready for Battle. Yazid said if you accept me as Khalifa i will provide you with money, power and everything you want, Hence Imam Hussain denied; if Imam Hussain would have accepted the 1st option of Khalifa, Yazid would have changed the whole Islamic Culture, Rules & Regulations. Imam Hussain called upon a meeting in a tent and informed his families & followers that you all are free to leave this place as Yazid wants to kill me if I don't accept him as Khalifa. Yazid has nothing to do with you all and he just needs my life. Imam Hussain said if you people can't go in front of me thinking it will be shameful for you all to leave so Imam Hussain blowed the lamp and asked them to leave in the darkness. Later when Imam Hussain lighted the lamp again he saw everyone was present there itself nobody left the place leaving Imam Hussain alone.The Battle started Imam Hussain fought the battle for Humanity with his families & followers including kids and with a number of 72 people was Matryr (Shaheed) for Humanity without having a drop of water and not even food for 3days as yazid denied accessing water to them. Hence being spiritual and unique we kept our Restaurant name as 7t2 HUNGERS (Humanity Saviour)We salute our Imam Hussain, his family and followers for their patience, sacrifice and belief in Allah!
