808m is the abbreviation of 808media, a global collective with active members from all over the world. Founded in 2004 by Federico Sánchez, Juan Alca & Patrick Beneer it became a label on 2007. It aims to promote emerging artists who are in the scene lurking for being heard and fights with music capitalism, giving their digital records for free, under a Creative Commons License. It also has no genre limitation. Techno, House, experimental, ambient, downtempo… We constantly try to promote artists which have a style of their own, so if you aren't sure of fitting in any label because of their strict music style, well…. that can be useful for us. We love eclectic and timeless music.
