The company was born when Suzanne, a devoted mother of two, turned her artistic talent for design toward creating infant girls' apparel in her home studio.The company was not based upon a business plan, but instead stemmed from Suzanne's interest in art and her desire to dress her children in unique clothing that reflected their special individualities. Each article of clothing is a fusion of art and fashion, and all are truly original. Best of all, by incorporating her experiences as a mother into her childrenswear, Suzanne's designs are comfortable, durable, machine-washable and fun!After receiving many compliments on her designs worn by her boys, she began selling custom-made items to friends and by word-of-mouth, finally making the decision to bring her trendy, playful pieces to the greater public. What started with baby girls' layette produced in her basement has now expanded into toddler, girls, juniors and a newly launched boys' line that is carried in more than 40 boutique stores and two large retail chains located up and down the entire east coast.
