Why does 'A Stroke of Luck' exist? No survivor should be left alone thinking "what next?"With 'A Stroke of Luck', the journey to a fuller life continues because we truly care, and create positive communities.Introducing physical activity into a survivor's daily life increases the sense of wellbeing and by connecting stroke survivors and personal trainers, we can work together to develop a healthier body and mind. This is exactly what 'A Stroke of Luck' does. We provide the stroke survivor with the access to fitness and wellbeing experts who support recovery leading to a fulfilled life: one a survivor may have thought was impossible to achieve. But we don't stop there...We don't forget about the often-forgotten community: the friends and families of the survivors. We understand you need support and guidance too. Our Founder, Craig Pankhurst is himself a stroke survivor and he's as passionate about supporting fellow survivors as he is helping their nearest and dearest. We call this: Creating the ‘A-Team'.Creating an ‘A-Team' and working together makes the difference. Letting the survivor be the captain of their A-Team will enable them to have the confidence to excel in life. ‘A Stroke of Luck' can support and guide you on being the best team player you can be. Remember, each member of the team has an integral role to the success of the A-Team!Mission ValuesTo provide stroke survivors with the opportunity to access fitness professionals training services to aid their recovery and rehabilitation.VisionTo enable stroke survivors to become socially mobile by improving their physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing
