When my business partner Zee & I met in the healthcare industry, we quickly discovered that travel nurses are getting the short end of the stick in many ways! Ironically, the biggest inconvenience of all is their lack of health insurance options. We learned the plans offered to these nurses provide coverage while on assignment, but do not travel to their next job or even on vacation!After befriending hundreds of travel nurses over the years & hearing their stories, we learned that finding an insurance plan that lasts year-round & travels with them tops the list of inconveniences. On top of the that, we discovered that recruiters who locate assignments for these nurses charge upwards of 30% - 50% of every paycheck these nurses earn, just for finding them a job. This is not the treatment the ones out there fighting Covid-19 and risking their lives deserve!After learning all this, Zee and I got to work to fix this problem. We figured out a way that to provide people everything while on assignment from health insurance, life insurance, housing arrangements, hotel accommodations and anything else that you may need while you're out there! This way, everyone gets to keep most of their check and have peace of mind.
