Myotherapy is a hands-on therapy that mainly focuses on muscular pain and soft tissue injuries, from muscle spasms, sprains and strains to headaches and other chronic pain syndromes such as fibromyalgia. As Myotherapists we spend a lot of time doing the hands-on hard work loosening up the muscle spasms, which are often disregarded by many therapists (usually because it's too hard work). For example, treatments can include myofascial release, trigger point therapy and deep tissue massage. Other modalities we regularly use are dry needling, cupping, stretching, strapping, corrective exercise and rehabilitation.
