A408 Studio is a full service Architecture and Construction firm specializing in design/build projects for commercial and residential clients. Co-owners Steven Johnson AIA and Janet Mazzurco have over 3 decades of experience in design and construction. Steve is a licensed Architect and is a licensed General Contractor with a "Commercial" building designation. Janet is a degreed interior designer and also owns Verona Marble and Tile INC. The A408Studio brand is comprised of two sister companies: A408Studio Architecture + Design PLLC which holds Steve's license to practice Architecture. The 2nd company is A408Studio INC which is our Commerical and Residential Construction division. "A" Stands for "Atelier" which is French for "studio" or "workshop" featuring Architects, artists, carpenters, and craftsman, guided by a Master Architect. This is a popular business model in European countries and puts the Architect in charge of the construction process. 408 = 4/08, the date we imagined a better design/build company.
