Can I Become a Member?The answer is "yes", provided you meet one or more of the following criteria. You are a paid professional working at a recognized alcohol/drug treatment facility. You are a health care professional interested in promoting care for alcohol and/or other drugabusers You are a person working in the Human Services field, practice of Social Work or BehavioralHealthcare Professional You have submitted a letter and it's approved with two thirds vote by the AAADAC Board.For over forty years Arkansas Association of Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Counselors [AAADAC] has been a primary organization in Arkansas dedicated to assuring the availability of qualified substance abuse counselors and other health care professionals interested in the field of substance abuse counseling and treatment. In order to provide excellence in service and care, professionals must have a continuum of training and education. We provide these opportunities at our annual Fall Workshop. Because of the Dynamic growth in the profession there are political and legislative concerns that must be addressed. AAADAC is a clearinghouse for information and service as the voice of our members on these issues."Committed to professional growth through service, education, and training!"
