AAG is a Pakistani Pop-Rock duo from Lahore, Punjab consisting of Haroon Sheikh (vocals, guitars, songwriter, producer) and Usman Sheikh (vocals, drummer, producer). Formed in 2006, their "earthy yet modern" sound, has been praised by the critics and the greats of the Pakistani music industry alike.Since their inception, the band has released an album worth of singles online. Their first step in this venture, their debut original "Aag" governed them great success. Several singles and TV appearances later, they gained a loyal and a die-hard fan following. Aag is a critically acclaimed band which was termed as "The biggest Rock Act to come from South East Asia" by BBC Radio UK in 2011, when they did a rock cover of Imran Khan's "Bewafa". Their cover of the song "Mitti" by the legendary Pakistani rock band Junoon was featured on Junoon's 20th anniverary album (2011) and was praised by Salman Ahmad and Brian O'Connell, the two original members of Junoon.Spending weeks on all top 10's multiple times, and with regular airtime on all major radio stations, and TV channels, including in the US, UK and the UAE, the band made it to Nescafe Basement in 2014, delivering hits like "Phir Se" in season 2 and "Do Pal" again in season 3 the following year. Aag was also featured on LEVI'S Live Session 6 in 2017. They also made their mark as both artists and producers on VELO Sound Station with their smash hit song Sun Zara.
