Providing Value Engineering proposals.Preparing Bill of Quantity for a project during different design phases.Verifying Bill of Quantities based on design drawings.Evaluating and negotiating variations and change orders in liaison with the Contract Administrator, Commercial Manager, Design and Construction Team.Providing pieces of advice related to contract form & special conditions to be customized based on special project conditions and client requirements.Cost estimating and budgeting during different design phases.Preparing a complete set bidding documents.Bids evaluation & examination.Contract administration.Preparing project expected vs actual cash flow and giving advice to client.Carrying out cost to complete exercises.Evaluating and advising on financial implications and appropriate management actions.Preparing or reviewing of change orders / variation orders & claims.Preparing and reviewing of take-off quantities for civil and architectural works during the project construction works based on approved shop drawings or the latest received issued for construction "IFC" drawings.Carrying out monthly interim valuations for contractors, and sub-contractors valuations including all the required supporting documents.Creating of project's material list for procurement department.Managing the procurement of plant and material such as Tower Crane and supply of steel reinforcement, tiles …etc.Collecting data for reports and preparing monthly progress report.Preparing claims for the project related to time extension and cost compensation.Manage the tender process.Input into value and risk management workshops as required by the client.As primary project cost controller, ensures that the project remains on budget through the design and construction phases.Reviewing and comparing scopes of work, production rates, and cost data.Preparation of earned value reports.Reviewing and evaluating of payment certificates for Subcontractors/GC Contractor.
