AARTPLACE is an art advisory studio providing the curation, development and delivery of art collections, programs, plans and strategies for private collectors, corporate clients, developers, municipalities and public institutions. We are dedicated to the thoughtful and meaningful integration of art, design and the built environment, with a mission to create connections between people and places through art. Our founder and Principal, Anabella Alfonzo, brings over 16 years of multidisciplinary experience. Rooted in her architecture background and informed by her understanding of contemporary art, Anabella has led the curation and delivery of large-scale art programs, plans and collections across North America and Europe – working collaboratively with architects, developers, interior designers, brand specialists, artists, as well as clients, on projects in the fields of hospitality, communications, transportation, health/wellness and education.We believe that the success of a well-designed space, building or urban environment, lies in the intentional cross-pollination of all creative disciplines involved in its conception. Progressive organizations around the world are realizing and leveraging the potential of art as a strategic tool in support of their vision and initiatives. Recognizing that art not only elevates the built environment, but also is a powerful tool for engagement, identity, cultural strengthening and user wellbeing. Working collaboratively with clients, artists, project teams and stakeholder groups, we ensure the project's vision is carried throughout all phases, while carefully managing team, budgets, and schedules.
