Introducing a step towards a change and service to humanity with integrity. AAVYA - "first rays of sun"- an initiative to make the roots (thinking) of our tree (society) strong with the right amount of sunshine.With the rising numbers of victims (humans as well as animals) of mental and physical abuse, we want everyone specially the youth of our society to 'Un-learn the wrong preconceived notions and try to Re-learn the right ones to save humanity and thus living beings.In Aavya, for the past 3 months we were working on:1. Awareness programmes among school students on topics such as peer pressure, menstrual health, etc.2. Workshops and webinars for youth on issues like mental health, impact of pandemic, depression, gender equality, etc. 3. We also provide peer to peer support and previously we have done peer to peer discussions on topics ranging from effect of pandemic to breakups to dramatic childhood, etc.If you would like to volunteer with us, feel free to message or mail us at - aavya0808@gmail.com
