The Abandoned Children's Foundation International Volunteering is a 501(C) (3) tax exempt nonprofit. Our primary purpose is the wellbeing of orphaned children living in harsh conditions. We are currently caring for an orphanage outside of Thika Kenya which houses 30 orphaned children and in the process of building a new orphanage in Kitale Kenya. The children in Thika range in age from 3 years to 14 years old. Most of the children were abandoned b/c of parental death caused by disease.The way The Abandoned Children's Foundation International Volunteering is different because we provide a unique service that gives almost anyone 18 years or older the opportunity to volunteer internationally in Kenya at one of our orphanages, clinics, or schools. Our international volunteering services provides not only a great opportunity for our volunteers but 50% of volunteer program fees are used to keep our programs alive and orphans housed, feed, and educated. The other 50% is of course used to accommodate our volunteers' needs.We are accepting new volunteers all year long. Our international volunteering fees are very affordable and include - airport pick up, airport return, orientation, program supervision, accommodation and meals during volunteer placement period, In-country 24/7 support and In-country administration costs. Volunteer Period1 Week = $475, 2weeks = $575, 3 Weeks = $675,4 Weeks (1 Month)= $825,5 Weeks = $900,6 Weeks = $10007 Weeks = $10758 Weeks (2 Months) = $1150And $95 per additional week
