The Abby's Friends Charity Golf Classic and Gala is held annually at the Daniel Island Club. In just four short years, Abby's Friends has raised more than $700,000. All proceeds from the event are divided among MUSC Children's Hospital Pediatric Endocrinology Department, Camp Adam Fisher, and the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. Our Mission is to: * Educate the Public and raise awareness in the Community about Type I Diabetes. * Support Research initiatives in finding a Cure for Diabetes. * Enhance the Quality of Life for all Type I Diabetics by encouraging advances in Diabetes Research, Management, and Care. * Empower the Diabetic and the Family thru Educational Resources.
