Construction - St. Rose, Louisiana, United States
Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) is a national management association for the construction industry which actively promotes the merit shop form of construction. From a modest start by six Baltimore contractors in 1950, ABC has enjoyed a growing membership, now totaling more than 23,500 member firms, each dedicated to the principles of free enterprise and management's right to manage. These beliefs translate into a healthy, competitive and professional climate, the results of which are proudly reflected in ABC member's construction accomplishments. Founded on the merit shop philosophy, ABC and its 70 chapters help members develop people, win work and deliver that work safely, ethically, profitably and for the betterment of the communities in which ABC and its members work. ABC New Orleans/Bayou Chapter has been serving the Commercial & Industrial Construction Industry within the 12 Parishes of Southeast Louisiana since 1970. The Chapter's 6-acre campus is home to our Administrative offices and to one of the largest Apprenticeship & Craft Training programs in the State. Our Chapter is registered with the Louisiana Workforce Commission's State Apprenticeship Division, and is accredited by the National Center for Construction Education & Research.
