Aberdeen Radiation Protection Services Limited (ARPS) provides comprehensive and cost effective radiation protection services to both operators and service companies in the UK oil and gas sector. We currently operate with six fully qualified Radiation Protection Advisers (RPA) and four Radioactive Waste Advisers (RWA). We also employ four trainee RPAs who get involved in all aspects of our work.Our RPAs are very experienced in working in the oil and gas industry both onshore and offshore, in the UK and abroad. ARPS personnel have carried out work for clients in West African countries including Angola, Ivory Coast, Ghana, Gabon and Mauritania, in the Middle East, including Oman and Iraq, and in Brazil, South America. Although our primary focus is the provision of radiation protection services to the oil and gas sector, we also provide radiation services to the waste management industry, including NORM decontamination and final disposal sites; the healthcare sector, including hospitals, vets and dentists; and the higher education and research sector. Drawing experience from a broad skills base has enabled ARPS to transfer and share new ideas between clients which ensure the most stringent Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental standards.
