Absolute Data is a specialist consulting business with expertise in information assurance - ensuring that an organisation is assured that its data is secure, well governed, protected from threats, compliant, and commercialised. Information Assurance is delivered through the unique framework that our consulting team have developed while working in the field. The framework is practical, efficient and effective, and complaint with both ISO27001 and BS10012. Our IA framework can be used as a stand-alone product for self-implementation. It can be used in its entirety for the purposes of implementing an organisation-wide information assurance system, or it can be used in part to improve control over specific processes. In fact you may only want to use our initial assessment tool to assess how good your information governance and data protection arrangements are. Our consultants may be engaged to advise on specific items such as data retention periods, data sharing agreements, notification exemptions, marketing to children, or best practice in using CCTV, call recording or other monitoring. We can inspect/audit a supplier of IT or cloud computing services as part of your own risk assessments. We even have customers who engage us to undertake "social" penetration testing where we stress test their own data handling processes. Finally we've done so much data protection training that we've developed our own training materials and superb awareness raising program.
