www.advancedbiomarker.com ABT has created a PET Biomarker Generator which will produce "on-demand" Flourine-18 labeled compounds. The generator includes a compact accelerator coupled to a "kit based" micro-chemistry system and integrated quality control module. The complete system can be located in a room adjacent to the imaging scanner. The small size and integrated components take the place of a large, conventional cyclotron located requiring a 4,000 square foot facility, with fully equipped hot labs and quality control equipment and large staffs to operate them. The size and complexity difference allows customers a much lower barrier to entry to have access to radioisotopes on demand or integrating PET into their drug development programs
