My name is Dori Ray. I am a Nationally Certified Massage Therapist, licensed in North and South Carolina. I have provided healing touch to our community in these foothills of the Carolinas for most of the past ten years. After completing my Bachelors in English from UNC Charlotte, I studied massage therapy at the Center for Massage and Natural Health in Weaverville, NC. My education included Sweedish Massage, Aromatherapy, Trigger Point Therapy, Sports Massage, Anatomy and Physiology and Spa Treatments. Since then, I have continued my education with various classes in the healing arts including Neuromucular Therapy, Thai Yoga Massage and Awakening the Spine. I have an effective approach to massage that caters to the needs of each client. During the past 7 years, I have developed my own style of massage that is inspired by each client. Sweedish massage carries other styles such as LomiLomi, Trigger Point, Deep Tissue, Neuromuscular Therapy and techniques to awaken the spine. Energetically, I depend on the Spirit to move me.
