Founded by Salli Ford, a science teacher and mom and her husband Joe, a former employee benefits consultant, Academy Learning and Academy@Work offer concierge K-12 Tutoring and Educational Consulting programs designed to support both students and parents. Each program is customized by the employer and built on the following four Core Components: 1) Educational Consulting, 2) 360-Degree Student Discovery (assessments) Process, an 3) K-12 Education Project Plan, 4) Student Tutoring and Academic Support. Optional additional benefits could include online Enrichment Classes, Summer/School Break Programs, and College Admissions Advising. The core benefits, Educational Consulting for parents, consists of bi-monthly consults to assist parents and students with the choice of school and school programs (public, public charter, private, tech/arts magnets, Montessori, AB, etc), primary/secondary school entrance exams (private and/or exam schools), Special Education, Advanced Placement programs, summer programs and family relocation.
