Business Supplies & Equipment - Marietta, Georgia, United States
Acadia opened its doors August 17, 1987, no customers, only a marketing plan to mail 13,000 businesses in the Atlanta metro area. The owner, 24 yr old John Wynns, w/a marketing degree from State University of West Georgia, had left Globe oil to start a business his father had retired from and one which his brother was currently in, in Michigan (Michigan Coffee Service) started by their father in 1966.In 2001 sensing changes in the market place, we became one of the first Authorized Keurig Distributor. After 18 years of business, demographics for offices were changing, most only getting smaller. Sensing a seismic shift in the way business was being conducted, we made the decision to sell the vending portion of business to Jimmy Brian, owner/operator of Eagle Vending. Acadia moved its operations center in 2007 to their current location in Marietta, GA. We now provide service to 35 different counties within the state of Georgia. We currently provide service and maintenance to well over 500 pieces of equipment placed at small to large sized offices. Acadia currently holds bragging rights as the largest Keurig K-cup distributor, offering many more choices than their competition.ACS is also an established provider of water filtration systems. We take pride in offering point-of-service coolers that provide the greenest possible solutions, simultaneously avoiding costly bottles. We offer free maintenance service to our filtrated water systems, provide annual filter changes, and lead the market with both floor and countertop water coolers.
