Founded on 11/22/1980, the entity works towards the professionalization and strengthening of the segment of Radio and Television stations in Santa Catarina. Its principles are: Enhancement of regional programming, professionalization of the broadcaster, strengthening of its Members, incentive to market growth, valuing of small broadcasters, in addition to the concern with solutions to community problems. The entity acts as a legitimate political representation of the segment, in addition to supporting ABERT's actions (Ex: Combate à Rádios Piratas). It promotes the growth of its members through the ACAERT Radio Center, events and the ACAERT Award. It also offers Legal and Technical assistance in addition to supporting Media Market Events.
