ACBBA Details
ACBBA is an enterprise development organisation established to develop and promote community based business support services. Our aim is to empower communities, particularly those facing socio economic disadvantage, with enterprise skills. We do this by developing community based business advisers who operate from within specific target communities. We advice local and regional authorities on the adoption of community based business support and share our experience at European level. We also work with start up and existing businesses both in conjunction with other community based business advisers and independently. The development of business-led networks is an area of particular interest to ACBBA, consistent with our aim to develop self supporting initiatives and mobilise those resources part of the development of social capital in communities.
