About Access Data SystemsRichard Houyoux founded Access Data Systems in 1993 to create an affordable RF warehouse management system using standard PCs.The company's first offering, the Access 1000 Warehouse Management System, installed at a production site in 1998, continues to provide responsive WMS solutions to a number of companies in both the United States and Europe.In 2002, with the advent of Microsoft Visual Studio .NET, Access Data Systems launched development of a completely new system using Visual Basic .NET and Microsoft SQL Server. The objective again was to provide an affordable RF WMS, and to build in 1) support for 3PL organizations, 2) both batch and RF terminal operations, 3) on-line Help, 4) easy upgradeability, and 5) easy installation and support. The result of this effort is the product now available, Compass Inventory/Warehouse Management System (CompassIM).Access Data Systems is owned by Richard and Nancy Houyoux and is independent of third-party financing.Thank you for your interest in Access Data Systems and its products.
