Acciaitubi Spa is a company founded by engineer Bruno Berera in 1961. Steel is a tradition within the Berera family, started in 1919 in Lecco, a city that will soon become famous all over the world for being a pioneer in the production of steel and its derivatives. Today, with the third entrepreneurial generation guided by Marco Berera, Acciaitubi looks towards the future with keeping the following values in mind: the love for its own history, the sense of belonging to the territory, and the knowledge of the product and its manufacturing. After 50 years many things have changed. Quickly adapting itself to the market's needs, the company today exports 50% of its production, aiming for 70%. Acciaitubi decided to widen its production range by focusing on gas and water tubes. The forming and welding of tubes is carried out on hot and cold-rolled materials, Sendzimir and high resistance. Alongside the rolling lines there are the hotdip galvanizing line and the finishing treatments, such as: threading, grooving, precision cutting and painting. Strength points include a wide range of in-stock products and a just-in-time service for customers. Acciaitubi has now its own epoxy and water based painting facility, offering a painted tube in different colours, marked according to customers' requests.
