Accuvin was born during the crush of 1999 when its founder, Mike Miller, prepared to bring in the first harvest in his new Carnet Sauvignon hillside vineyard. Mike looked for tests similar to the tests he had been manufacturing the last 30 years for the medical field: quick, easy, accurate, inexpensive tests that did not require laboratory equipment or training. When he could not find any, he decided to make them.Mike created wine test that remove red color interference and provide quick answers for production decisions without any preparation to the sample or expensive, difficult to use equipment.Accuvin now produces tests for wine makers, hard cider makers, and produce growers to use when making their production and harvest decisions.Our main goal at Accuvin is to provide quick, easy, and accurate tests that help our customers make production decisions and ultimately the best products possible.
