It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a new organization. Maybe your organization is expanding. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story can make all the difference.ACE Creative began as the brainchild of Angela Sander. After spending time in the nonprofit arts sector, Angela decided she wanted to launch her own company, consulting for other arts nonprofits on telling their stories to the world. Her belief is that "We all have a story to tell," and she hopes through ACE Creative she is able to help organizations tell theirs.Hailing from rural Missouri, Angela grew up with a love and appreciation for all art forms. As a child, she started playing piano at five years old and started playing professionally at age fourteen. Since then, she continues performing, having earned a Bachelor of Arts in Music from the Conservatory of Music and Dance at the University of Missouri-Kansas City.During her time at the Conservatory, Angela gained a love for the arts administration and decided to complete a graduate degree in the field. After leaving Kansas City, Angela started her Master of Fine Arts in Arts Management and Leadership at Webster University in St. Louis. In this program, she has learned from some of St. Louis's leading arts professionals who work full-time in the field.Angela has worked and collaborated with numerous arts organizations, including Nashville Songwriters Association International, STAGES St. Louis Performing Arts Academy, The Luminary, Winter Opera St. Louis, Kirkwood Performing Arts Center, and the Arts Council of Southeast Missouri.Outside of ACE Creative, Angela currently divides her time performing on piano with Rising Generation Youth Chorus, teaching a small studio of voice and piano students, volunteering as a Communication Specialist for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the St. Louis area, and serving the Arts and Faith St. Louis board.
