Since 1891, Aceto Balsamico del Duca has been dedicated to the production and promotion of Balsamic Vinegar of Modena (IGP) and Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Modena (DOP). A tradition that has been handed down for 5 generations, closely linked to the territory, which guarantees a unique product, obtained from selected and high-quality cooked grape musts, and exclusively Italian wine vinegar. The Balsamic Vinegar is aged in wooden barrels and its quality derives from a special selection of raw materials and the aging process.The company was founded in 1891, when Adriano Grosoli opens the "Premiata Salumeria", a delicatessen, registering his business with the Modena Chamber of Commerce.The turning point comes in the 70s, when Adriano, the third generation of the family, decides to devote himself exclusively to the production of Balsamic Vinegar of Modena and, together with his wife Luciana, chooses to distinguish the product with the image of Duke Francesco I d' Este, one of the most famous and passionate producers of the Balsamic Vinegar. In the 80s, the management of the company passes into the hands of the daughter Mariangela.In 2016, Aceto del Duca reaches a double goal: on the occasion of its 125th anniversary, it is fully admitted to the register of the Italian Centenary Companies Union.In 2018, Lucia, Mariangela's daughter and 90-year-old Adriano's grandaughter, representative of the fifth generation, joins the company.Finally, in 2021, the company celebrates its 130th anniversary and, on June 2nd, Adriano Grosoli is forged the title of Knight of the Italian Republic by President Mattarella.We are proud to export our Balsamic Vinegar to 40 countries (Japan, USA, Canada, EU, UEA…) and offer to our customer a certified product.- PGI: Protected Geographical Indication- PDO: Protected Designation of Origin- BIO: organic certified- IFS- Halal
