Financial Services - Buffalo, New York, United States
The Association for Corporate Growth is an organization providing a global community for mergers and acquisitions and corporate growth professionals. Founded in 1954, ACG has grown to more than 14,500 members from corporations, private equity, finance and professional service firms representing Middle Market, Fortune 1000 and FTSE 100 companies. Today there are 59 chapters in most major American and European cities as well as chapters in China and Asia. The local chapters meet regularly, support events and provide a forum for senior-level M&A professionals to network, share best practices and source deals. In addition to monthly meetings, local chapters also sponsor highly attended regional growth conferences and ACG Global (the parent organization) sponsors InterGrowth, an annual 3-day conference that is attended by more than 2,000 members. Members also are supported in their deal making activity by a robust website including transaction libraries, ACG Capital link (powered by Pitchbook) deal statistics, membership and chapter databases and two member publications. ACG Western New York represents the entire region of Western New York, stretching from Buffalo to Rochester down to the Pennsylvania state border. Buffalo and Rochester are the second and third largest cities in New York State with a combined population of 2.7 million and a $150B economy. ACG Western New York intends to be the premier organization for fostering middle market growth in the Buffalo and Rochester communities and serve as a forum for the region's leading corporations and intermediaries. The chapter leadership consists of senior leaders of prominent private equity firms, investment banks, commercial banks, law firms, and investment management firms. The chapter connects Western New York to ACG's global network, bringing the region into a larger community of investors and deal makers from around the world. ACG Western New York is working to build a large and vibrant chapter of corporate deal makers focused on middle market and corporate sectors. "Deal makers" include investment bankers, private equity principals, commercial bankers, corporate development officers, CEOs, CFOs, attorneys, accountants or other financial professionals. We hope you find this an exciting opportunity and look forward to building a highly successful chapter.
