Latasha is a former high school and middle school science teacher for Houston ISD. She is a true advocate of pushing each individual to their hidden potential. Her passion for a student's academic success stems from her experience tutoring elementary students when she was in high school. With motivation she believes each student can reach their personal goals.Elena Hightower holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Geology and a minor in Geophysics from the University of Houston. Elena is a former middle school science teacher for Fort Bend ISD and Houston ISD. While her original path was in Oil and Gas, she found her niche when tutoring a mother of two going back to school after 12 years out of any organized educational institution. The mother went on to graduate top of her class in college and owns her own Deaf-blind Assistance company in Austin, TX. This solidified Elena's path to foster ones own passion and innate talent into limitless personal success. While teaching, they quickly realized everyone learns at a difference pace and through different techniques. At times a classroom setting does not cater to each students individualism. Great progress was recorded and proven in small groups and one on one sessions. They quickly realized a need for an affordable, compassionate, and diligent system that creates future positive members of society.Tutoring is a privilege that we just so happen to get paid for. To be a part of another human beings success is the greatest reward we can think of. We truly believe that a great tutor CAN reach every student if they are dedicated and never stop challenging themselves. What is the point of life if you never stop trying to better yourself?
