Achilleas Accessories, founded in 1978, was the first Greek company to serve the women's accessories market and subsequently established itself as the market leader. In 1978 Achilleas Accessories was the first major retail and wholesale women's accessory store which was established in the heart of Athens by Syntagma Square. By 1996 Achilleas had expanded its operations by acquiring a 600 sq. m. building on Kolokotroni street to house the company's headquarters and wholesale operations. This expansion helped Achilleas service its growing wholesale customer base, which amounted to over 1.000 clients in 1996. In 2013, after 17 years, Achilleas Accessories is still a growing business with successful stores all over Athens and decides to complete its network with its newest store in Thessaloniki, as well as in Sofia,Bulgaria. The company's e-shop, which was launched at 2007, was updated to include the latest functionality and now welcomes over 50.000 orders annually. Beyond its retail division, the company maintains a very successful wholesale operation that includes a very large network of 5.000 clients globally. Later in 2013, the company further continued to build upon its international network and outreach efforts, by participating in fairs in Istanbul, Milan and Paris. Now in 2017, Achilleas Accessories expands its international wholesale by participating in big trade fares in Spain, Germany and Italy. The company's success is largely attributed to the large variety of product categories and codes within each category. The company produces two collections annually for the fall/winter and spring/summer seasons. Each seasonal collection contains about unique 1.200 style codes, excluding different color combinations per style.Achilleas Accessories has enjoyed tremendous success in recent years and seeks to continue to build upon its aggressive trajectory in the coming years by expanding into international markets.
