The SSN ACM (Association of Computing Machinery) Student Chapter, is an official student body functioning under the patronage of the Computer Science and Engineering Department of Sri Sivasubramaniya Nadar College of Engineering. Since its inception in 2012, the club has been steadily working to inculcate an unalloyed interest in Computer Science in students and consequently, stimulating the advancement of computer science as a whole.The student chapter helps nurture the student community with pragmatic know-how and offers professional networking opportunities by organizing presentations and discussions with distinguished subject experts, site visits to industrial facilities and research labs, educational workshops, contests to honor excellence and a wide array of other events. Every initiative aims to bring educators, researchers and industrialists from across the globe together to foster an open exchange of ideas and resources to address the field's challenges.
