The Department of Physical Sciences(Electronics) offers its students a spark of the most extraordinary combination of subjects, namely PHYSICS, MATHEMATICS & ELECTRONICS. Unlike other Hons. Courses, it proffers the students to expand their horizons to the fullest, allowing them to choose any of the subjects for higher studies as per their interest and talent. It's a well-known department of Hindu College. Although its strength is meagre, it's a packet of skill and opportunity. The soul of the department lies in ACME- The Physical Sciences (Electronics) society, which came into existence in 1989 but was formally named so in 2015. It has held various cultural programmes so far like the Annual department fest - "RADIANCE", which was one of the most appreciated and admired fest in the college last year. It has conducted various cultural programmes taking both science and environment hand in hand. These programmes serve as a continuous platform for eminent knowledge powerhouses, like Dr Pika Jha from DRDO who was the guest speaker in the fest last year. Many scientists and distinguished professors had been a part of our festivals. Various workshops and seminars are being conducted, almost every year, by the diligent society team. Almost all the students in the department are a part of many notable societies, like Panchtatva, Buniyaad, NSS, etc., of the college. Not only in extra-curricular but in academics too, students have consistently performed well securing top ranks in the University. Under the guidance of well informed, sensible teachers, the Department of Physical Sciences (Electronics) has come a long way and hopes to keep going on the ladder of success.
