Acounect is a suite of software and services developed by an innovative young company called Cyberio, based in Grenoble (France). The goal of the suite is to enable professional researchers and animal enthusiasts to observe fauna and collect ultrasound data with groundbreaking new tools. The Acounect suite includes:- the SoundChaser, an active listening solution that allows you to detect, record and analyze ultrasounds directly on the field, with a tablet or laptop PC + an ultrasonic microphone (Dodotronic Ultramic).- the Cameleo, a passive listening solution that consists in one or several connected boxes that you leave on the field to record ultrasounds autonomously. The novelty is that these boxes are "intelligent", solar-powered and can send data via the web. The Cameleo is currently being tested and will be released during 2014.- tailored professional training in the fields of bioacoustics and signal processing.
