ACT II Details
ACT II is a creative programme bridging the gap between student theatre and the industry. We provide a creative development programme for London Students, giving them access to skills workshops, Q&As, and tips from those currently working in the industry. We encourage London's students to work alongside one another, creating a London Student Drama community that does not discriminate one institution from another. With our creative development platform ACT II enables a selected group of student playwrights to develop an initial idea into a short piece of theatre. We pair up our writers with London Student Directors who then host open auditions. The final performances are then performed at a top London theatre. Those currently working in the industry are invited to give advice and feedback on each of the final pieces. Throughout the academic year ACT II participants will have access to a range of development opportunities we offer.
