The Mission of Act Justly | Love Mercy is to influence the culture with the values of the Kingdom. We seek to accomplish this mission by:Creative storytelling of the black experience, through podcasts and books. We believe that storytelling is an essential ingredient in building communities and relationships. Storytelling helps us to testify of our own experience while also allowing us to make others aware of the multitude of black experiences by intimately exposing others to the all too often hidden details of life.We focus on leadership development from a black Christian perspective that focuses on equipping leaders for every good work while preparing them to influence and impact every area of society and culture. We do this through community leadership cohorts that focus on training leaders in the church and the community to build relationships and address issues of theological and racial justice.We are committed to lasting change in our community through strategic place-based engagement. We focus on building partnerships, direct-action, advocacy, and protest. We believe in the significance of investing deeply into the places God has called us; and the need to lay deep roots to see a lasting personal, community, and institutional change.
