Actality, Inc. is developing a high performance camera system that provides 3D, 360⁰ vision in real-time. It's called the Panoramic Stereo Camera System, or "Pancam" for short. This biologically inspired and patented Pancam delivers, in real-time, 360⁰ panoramic, 3D video. Using powerful custom electronics, stunningly accurate video is delivered with minimal distortion and most importantly, without any moving parts. The combination of features allows us to deliver state-of-the-art performance in a package that is both cost-effective and durable. Using video analytics, the unique capabilities of this design will enable high performance autonomous detection of threats. (Please note that we have recently changed the name of our company from Axis Engineering Technologies, Inc. to Actality, Inc. )
