It evolved from the combination of the sugar industry's need for a better sugar centrifuge screen and the development by CSIRO research physicists of advanced Nd-YAG laser perforation technology. ActionLaser has unique capabilities using patented processes to produce finely perforated sheet and tubular products. These include high performance, laser-drilled stainless steel screens (LaserScreens), sieves, aerators, support grids and a wide range of other products. The screens range in aperture size from 0.05 mm to 0.6 mm. Today, as in the past, we remain a company with about 20 employees.
