Activate provides the retail industry with essential support services to both client companies and retailers. In the process of supplying these services collectively the members and associates employ an estimated 25-30,000 casual and part-time employees, making them one of the biggest employer groups. These services and the consistent quality of work provides the industry with the assurance that right-time, right-place priorities are activated and completed.From 2021...- Activate will bring a new level of communication with the industry, not only its expanding essential services but knowledge from around the global industry, podcasts with interesting and reliable people, unique roundtable conversations, social media updates, regular industry newsletters and recognition of valuable employees from within our teams.- Activate will provide a much more accessible training and professional development to merchandisers and sales teams, information sources for those employees, personal support programs and employment platforms.- Activate will also bring a new level of lobbying to the industry, allowing better understanding between business leaders of the services that can be provided and the value that they have in an expanding market place.- Most of all, Activate will open its doors to new members, including all of you present today. Membership will provide you with all of the elements mentioned so far and other benefits yet to be described. Membership will include being part of the Joe Berry Award development and allow, as it does now, for members to participate in the Award leadership and direction.
