Our mission at Active Citizens Foundation is to work on effective non-partisan campaigns that provide contexts and more opportunities for a new generation of citizens to get active on issues of contemporary significance. We recognize that there is a lack of social campaigns tailored for a new generation of citizens. This generation requires more opportunities that are tolerant of risk, not aversive to innovative thinking and interdisciplinary non-partisan partnerships and contexts. Today's political rhetoric is stifling the space that citizens use to construct change and as a result political leaders are failing to engage with the new generation of citizens. We offer a space where citizens can foster ideas, share knowledge and participate in activities of civic engagement. Our aim is to connect passionate individuals to the larger community and to empower citizens by providing a non-partisan context on issues that speak to them.
