Active Mendip – Supporting Sustainable Activities Active Mendip is a group of individuals, businesses and organisations working with, and committed to, the wild beauty of the Mendip Hills. Our common theme is direct involvement or support of outdoor pursuits under, on, or even above the Mendips. From cavers through to gliding our members provide the widest range of outdoor pursuits. Active Mendip are committed to utilising the Mendip Hills in a sustainable way. We aim to highlight and promote the attractions of the area and the fun you can have here. We help the local community to benefit from the interest in outdoor pursuits, but without damaging the landscape we love and work in. Active Mendip is a registered Community Interest Company (No. 6370791), this means we can trade and raise funds from grants safe in the knowledge it's all plowed back to support the Mendip Hills.
