Here at Active Recovery TMS, we are excited to bring Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) to the Portland metro area. TMS is a non-invasive treatment for patients whose depression is not well-controlled with medication or who experience side effects from antidepressants. TMS uses electromagnetism to stimulate specific groups of neurons in the prefrontal cortex.
