ActivOT Details
ActivOT is the world’s first occupational therapy franchise business, which is revolutionising the way that Occupational Therapists work, as well as challenging traditional models within both the franchise and allied health industries. Since 2012, they have supported more than 65 allied health professionals, across five Australian states to become business owners and thriving practitioners. Founder Helen Whait established ActivOT in Adelaide in 2007, and over the next five years, she successfully implemented processes and systems to achieve this balance. Recognising an opportunity to extend this flexibility and autonomy to other practitioners, Helen franchised ActivOT in 2012. ActivOT now boasts over 60 franchisees serving more than 8,000 clients across five Australian states, and it's not slowing down. ActivOT is pioneering the charge to combat burnout and unnecessary bureaucracy in allied health, all while equipping occupational therapists with the tools to provide the best possible service to the highest standard. Their model is a triple win: for their clients, for their practitioners and for the allied health profession. ActivOT is leading the charge in reshaping workplace culture to create a more inclusive and sustainable environment for both our franchisees and employees, employing principles that can be applied across industries to empower workforces to thrive both personally and professionally. The mission of ActivOT is simple: to deliver high-quality community-based occupational therapy services with kindness and empathy, without sacrificing practitioner well-being. ActivOT has built a community of like-minded, values aligned practitioners who benefit from a pooling of shared resources. ActivOT invites expressions of interest from AHPRA-registered occupational therapists, in both metropolitan and regional areas, who are ready to become private practitioners. ActivOT and the ActivOT logo are registered trademarks of ActivOT Pty Ltd.
