ACTRA is the national federation representing more than 25,000 professional performers who live and work across Canada. ACTRA members are English-speaking artists whose audiovisual performances cross all media platforms: videogames; commercials; film; television; sound recordings; radio; and digital media.ACTRA's mission is to provide its performers with a place of strength and safety they are proud to call home. As such, we focus on achieving two main goals: build on our experience in negotiating some of the best collective agreements in the world for our performers; and further ACTRA's role as a leading advocate for Canadian culture.As a member-run organization, the elected leaders from within the ACTRA membership create policy, which ACTRA staff are responsible for administering through its day-to-day operations.
